Privacy Policy of App

The following privacy policy is intended to inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis for the processing of personal information in the app SkatGenie+ ("ASG").

The ASG respects your privacy. It is the goal to keep the personal information used in the ASG to a minimum. Personal information is only processed in the ASG if you really wish to do so.

The personal information that may be collected by the ASG and may be considered personal information under applicable data protection laws falls into the following two categories:

To change your profile picture or the design of your playing cards, the ASG will request access to your private photo collection. The pictures you pick and import from your photo library will be stored in the ASG, so you do not have to do it after each app launch again.

2. Who receives my personal information?

The ASG supports multi-player gaming. You can play with other players near you if they also have installed the ASG. To inform other player nearby, your player's name and a random ID-number is transmitted wirelessly besides other general gaming data to the other players. Your own card designs are not transmitted, though.

If you do not want to reveal your identity to other players, you should not enter your real name in the ASG. You can protect your privacy by using the default settings of the ASG, or you could use pseudonyms instead.
